Hello there

 Hi all.

It's been months and months since I've posted.   Sitting around today so thought I would check in.  WE ARE STILL HERE!

We are moderately well.   Leonard has some health issues.    It looks like he will get a valve repair on the right side of his heart.   That should help not only with his breathing but also his legs.   He thought he would need back surgery to relieve the leg problem, but the cardiologist said the valve repair will help also.

I am still upright.  Busy weed whacking around the pond and keeping over 3 acres mowed.  In spurts.  I get tired easily.

Biscuit is Biscuit.  Still a cutie but now he is allowed less area to roam.   He had started running into surrounding wood and fields and be gone for 3 to 4 hours.   We could hear him howling as he chased rabbits or whatever.   He would return with muddy legs and belly from wading in nearby creek.  We were concerned as there are coyotes in those woods.  He is no match for them.

So a month ago we had an underground electric fence installed around two acres.  It is marked by yellow flags.   It did not take him long to learn what they meant.  When outside he wears a detector that signals when close to the fencing and zaps him should he cross it.   One time was enough!

We are still active at two Senior Centers.  On Monday afternoons we go to one.  They provide lunch and then we enjoy their Jam Session.    Several members then sing and play instruments.   On Wednesday we go to another center for lunch and Bingo.  On Thursday lunch and then Karaoke or a live band.  We dance a few but not like we used to.

I hope this finds you all well.

  1. Hope Len's surgery does the trick! Stress makes a person tired too and I think you might be stressing( just a bit!). Take care!!
