DeleteI think the header may be the bridge in FL.,Elvis' child hood home, The White House, the big bridge is with NJ -NY or San Francisco but I think that one is red Such great pictures and memories to look back at
ReplyDeleteThe Bridge is in Michigan. Mackinac Bridge. Connects lower and upper Michigan. At more than 26,000 feet it is 3rd longest suspension bridge in the world. It separates Lake Michigan from Lake Huron.
DeleteSorry..... not the White House. Nor bridge in Florida.
Custer, the Needles highway , Madison County, Oklahoma City, Tupelo. The rest I wouldn't know :) Good fun!
ReplyDeleteRight on all four.
ReplyDeleteWe have been over the MAC bridge and visited the elvis museum. Also visited the OKC federal building memorial and visited that building in the mid 1970's when I was stationed at the USCG command in OKC. I have picture of us taking one of our older motorhomes thru the rock tunnel but cannot recall exactly where it was out west until I look at my pictures..getting old I guess:)) I assume the others are from a presidential library, but not sure which one.
ReplyDeleteYes..... The one of Leonard sitting at the desk is from the George H W Bush Library in College Station, TX. The plane is at the LBJ homestead (Texas White House) in Johnson City, TX.
DeleteAnd that tunnel is in Needles Highway in Custer State Park, SD The tunnel is 8'4" wide. Our truck is 8' with mirrors retracted. Whew. Tour buses go through that tunnel.
